Three problems.

Three challenges almost every company knows.

01

Visibility

You're good — but no one can see it.

  • Your website doesn't immediately show what you stand for or why customers should choose you.
  • Next to the competition, your presence comes across as too unremarkable.
  • Without real insights, faces and stories, trust is hard to build.
02

Recruiting

The right candidates aren't reaching you.

  • Your job ads are barely seen by the right people.
  • Many applications don't fit the role or the company.
  • Open positions stay vacant for too long and weigh on the whole team.
03

Customer acquisition

Whoever isn't visible regularly is quickly forgotten.

  • Potential customers don't think of you when they're looking for a solution.
  • Without continuous content, reach is left to chance.
  • Competitors are more present and own the topics that should really be yours.
From practice — for your goals

This is how I solve it.

With a clear plan, one shoot day turns into multiple pieces of content for website, social media, recruiting and sales. That's how a single film becomes a system that works for you long-term.

What you get on top

No time for video projects? You don't need any.

Most companies put video off because it sounds like work: briefing rounds, alignment loops, email ping-pong. That's exactly the part I take off your plate — you make decisions, I manage the project. So you get visibility, applications and inquiries without one more project on your desk.

Who's behind this

The idea forge.

I'm Oliver Lange, filmmaker from Leipzig — more than 20 years in the craft, with a clear B2B focus. From 50+ projects in industry, energy, IT and mid-sized businesses I know what companies really struggle with: positions that stay vacant. A presence that doesn't show what's inside the company. Channels that nobody delivers content for.

That's exactly what I build films for. I start with the questions that lead to the message, plan the shoot so your day-to-day business keeps running, and deliver cuts before you have to ask. Project experience means: clean processes, fixed milestones, no surprises — and in the end a result that works in recruiting, sales and marketing.

My way of working is built around your result: small, quiet setups instead of a production circus, footage review on the evening of the shoot, first cuts within 24–48 hours — and a partner who thinks about story, impact and channels from concept to the final cut. You don't get a vendor who just shoots; you get someone who makes sure every shooting day works in recruiting, sales and marketing.

  • Results before you have to ask: review on shoot night, first cuts within 24–48 hours
  • A shooting day nobody notices: compact, quiet, professional — business as usual
  • Thinking along instead of just filming: story, impact and channels in view — to the last cut
07FAQ
Answered briefly

The questions you're asking yourself right now.

Before you get in touch, you want to know what you're getting into — rightly so. The most common questions about corporate films, recruiting films and how it all works, answered honestly.

What does a corporate film cost?

Four things determine the price: the number of shooting days, how many locations we visit, how many interviews we record, and how much animation or graphics are involved. After the briefing you get a fixed price within 24 hours — concept, shoot, edit, licences and revision rounds included. No add-ons, no day rates that surprise you at the end.

How long does producing a corporate film take?

From shoot day to finished film, usually under 14 days — you see the first cut within 24 to 48 hours of the shoot. From first conversation to delivery, plan for four to eight weeks. Most of that is concept alignment and your internal approvals, not the production itself.

How much internal time does a corporate film cost us?

A few hours, spread over several weeks: a guided briefing of 4 to 6 minutes, one alignment call for the concept, a shoot day alongside daily business, and feedback with a click in the client portal. Planning, shooting schedule, logistics and post-production are on me.

What does a recruiting film do about the skills shortage?

It answers the question every applicant asks before applying: what is it actually like to work there? Instead of listing benefits, a recruiting film shows real employees at their real workplaces. That pre-filters — you get fewer but better-matched applications. And the film keeps working for years: on your careers page, in job ads and on LinkedIn.

Is a corporate film worth it for a mid-sized company?

Especially there. Most of my 50+ projects were for companies with 30 to 100 employees. In a mid-sized company a film works harder than in a corporation: it replaces the marketing team you don't have and runs in recruiting, sales, at trade fairs and on your website in parallel — for years, with no running costs.

What does a video shoot at our company look like?

Quiet and plannable: 15 minutes of setup, compact equipment with no cordoned-off areas, and a schedule built around your operations rather than the other way round. We film interviews and working situations between daily business. Production keeps running, customer traffic isn't interrupted.

Our employees don't want to be on camera. What then?

Almost every company says this before the shoot, and it resolves on the day. I guide a relaxed interview instead of having people recite lines: questions instead of a script, topic anchors instead of fixed wording. After about ten minutes the camera is forgotten. And only people who volunteer end up on camera anyway.

Do we need a concept or script beforehand?

No. You provide input in a guided briefing of 4 to 6 minutes, and I develop the concept, story and shooting plan from it. You approve both before the camera rolls. You need neither a marketing team nor prior experience with film.

How do we give feedback on the edit?

Through your own client portal: you see every cut online and comment second-accurately on the timecode, instead of describing in an email which moment you mean. All versions, documents and downloads live in one place. Revision rounds are built into the fixed price, and you see cuts early enough that final approval holds no surprises.

Who owns the films, and what happens to the raw footage?

The finished films are yours, with full usage rights for all your channels: website, social media, trade fairs, careers page and ads, with no time limit. I archive the raw footage securely, which is where later cuts come from without a new shoot. On request you can have it as an add-on.

What about data protection and employee consent?

We settle it before the shoot, not after: consent forms for everyone involved, only volunteers on camera, sensitive areas and screens either planned around or kept unreadable. That way there's no argument afterwards about whether a film may be published.

You're based in Leipzig. Do you shoot nationwide?

Yes. The base is Leipzig, but we film wherever your company is — throughout Germany and beyond on request. The compact setup travels well, and coordination runs through the client portal, phone or video call. Travel and logistics costs are stated transparently in the fixed price.

Which formats do we get the films in?

Every shoot produces cuts in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 — ready for website, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, careers page and ads. Plus the 4K master and the web versions as finished files. Every channel gets its own format, not the same film three times.
